Income-Based Pricing

In support of our mission to reduce barriers to learning and ensure educational equity, Learning Matters provides tutoring services based on family income. We believe every child should have the opportunity to learn.

Learning Matters is a non-profit organization. We are able to provide services on a sliding fee scale through grant funding and private donations. Based on federal and local guidelines, you may qualify for services at a reduced rate. To apply for reduced-fee services, please complete the Financial Assistance Application Form. Once submitted, the finance committee will review your file within 10 business days and contact you with next steps.

Families receiving subsidized services must meet the following conditions:

  • Agree to annual income verification
  • Commitment to attendance. No more than four (4) missed or cancelled session per year.
  • Maintain a zero account balance each month.

We know life throws us curve balls and last year’s tax form may not reflect your current economic status. Contact us anytime to discuss our fees and we will evaluate your case on an individual basis.

Thank you for choosing Learning Matters!
