Position: Reading Specialist for One-on-One Intervention
Are you a teacher looking to make a difference for a struggling reader? We are adding to our staff of terrific teachers to work one-on-one with K-8 students who need reading support and intervention. Structured Literacy Certification and experience preferred. We will help you attain certification if you do not have it. Bachelor’s degree required. Learning Matters is looking for motivated teachers with a strong desire and ability to help our students achieve success academically. Position: Development and Marketing Intern
Are you a budding social entrepreneur? Do you have a passion for literacy and helping underserved youth? Learning Matters is seeking an enthusiastic college-level intern each spring and fall semester, and one summer intern, who will work under the supervision of our Director of Advancement. Depending upon credits needed for school, responsibilities could include event planning, grant writing/management, donor relations, and/or social media and marketing.
