Your child’s unique learning needs will be matched to an experienced learning specialist’s skills. An individualized teaching plan will be created to address your child’s challenges, and the curriculum will be taught using research-based programs. Our instructors specialize in the teaching of literacy skills and learning strategies at all levels, as well as elementary math. The one-on-one teaching will be ongoing, and every effort will be made to ensure a successful long-term relationship between the student and the teacher. Communication between the one-on-one teacher and the classroom teacher is strongly encouraged. Progress will be monitored by Learning Matters’ staff and will be reported to parents on a regular basis.
